CL Gas Chlorinator
The SUPERIOR™ Gas Chlorinator is a state-of-the-art, vacuum-operated, solution feed type which mounts onto the chlorine cylinder valve using a very heavy-duty, positive yoke clamp connection. A chlorine gas flow meter panel indicates the amount of chlorine being fed and may be located wherever it is safest and most convenient. Chlorine feed rate is manually and the design permits easy addition of a number of automatic flow rate control devices. A high efficiency, water operated ejector produces vacuum necessary to operate the system.
The ejector assembly contains a back-flow check valve to prevent pressurized water from entering the chlorinator. A spring-opposed diaphragm vacuum regulator controls the chlorine gas flow rate and also acts as the safety shut-off valve.
- Ultra-Thick Fluoroplastic Yoke Coating
- All Fiberglass Reinforced ABS Molding
- Fluoroplastic Rate Valve "Seat"
- Titanium Non-Corroding Bolts & Nuts
- Extra-Heavy Ejector Diffuser Outlet Threads
- "Universal" Ejector Diffuser
- PVDF Vacuum Tube Fittings - "User Friendly"
- High/Low Back Pressure Check Valve Is Standard
- Easiest to Maintain and Service
- Fewer Parts - Made From Better Materials
- Lower Initial Cost...Lower Operating Cost
- 3-Year Warranty...Lifetime Warranty on 5 Major Parts

CL Auto Switchover Gas Chlorinator
The SUPERIOR™ Series CL Gas Switchover Chlorinator is a state-of-the-art, vacuum operated system designed to automatically switch chlorine feed from an empty cylinder to a full cylinder.
The CL Series allows round-the-clock chlorination without being concerned about running out of chlorine when the system is unattended. Series CL chlorinators are of the vacuum-operated, solution feed type designed to mount directly on the auxiliary valve of a wall manifold.
Two vacuum regulators, each containing an integral and independent latching mechanism, are mounted directly onto two chlorine manifold auxiliary valves. A chlorine gas flow meter panel indicates the amount of chlorine being fed and may be located wherever it is safest and most convenient.
The chlorine feed rate is manually and the design permits easy addition of a number of automatic flow rate control devices. A high efficiency, water operated ejector produces vacuum necessary to operate the system.
-
Two cylinder mounted regulators automatically switch from empty cylinder to full
-
Vacuum fed round-the-clock chlorination for critical systems
-
Prevents chlorine waste, easy to use and maintain, doesn't make positive switch
-
User Friendly PVDF Vacuum Tube fittings, titanium bolts and nuts, lifetime warranty

SD Gas Sulfonator
The SUPERIOR™ SD Gas Sulfonator is a state-of-the-art, vacuum-operated, solution feed type which mounts directly on a sulfur dioxide cylinder valve. The sulfonator is mounted onto the sulfur dioxide cylinder valve using a very heavy-duty, positive yoke clamp connection. A sulfur dioxide gas flow meter panel indicates the amount of sulfur dioxide being fed and may be located wherever it is safest and most convenient. Sulfur dioxide flow rate is manually adjusted and the design permits easy addition of a number of automatic flow rate control devices. A high efficiency, water operated ejector produces the vacuum necessary to operate the system. The ejector assembly contains a back-flow check valve system to prevent pressurized water from entering the sulfonator. A spring-opposed diaphragm vacuum regulator controls the sulfur dioxide gas flow rate and also acts as the safety shut-off valve.
- Basic Standard Gas Sulfonator, Multiple Mounting Options - All Vacuum
- Ideal for application where the meter needs to be separate from head
- Fewer Parts, Lower Maintenance, and accurate make this a great value
- All Fiberglass Reinforced ABS Molding
- Easy-to-install
- Universal Ejector Diffuser

Autovalve 2000 Series
The new SUPERIOR™ AUTOVALVE is designed to give water and wastewater treatment facilities a true operator-friendly means of controlling the feed rate of chlorine or sulfur dioxide gas when treating varying water flow rates and/or residuals. Quick response times and a very rugged, powerful hi-torque DC stepper motor give unsurpassed accuracy and reliability.
Using a simple to understand, menu driven operator interface panel, the SUPERIOR™ AUTOVALVE can be installed in virtually any existing gas chlorination or sulfur dioxide system and be up and running in less than 30 minutes. Operators do not have to be instrument savvy, nor do they have to make any complicated calculations to set up or calibrate the AUTOVALVE. All that is required is a 4 to 20 milliamp signal from a water flow meter, a 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hertz power supply, and a gas chlorinator (or sulfonator).
The user friendly menu system guides you through any calibration operation, although most installations will only require a minimum initial check to set maximum gas feed rates.
ALL "OPTIONS" ARE ALREADY BUILT-IN.
The SUPERIOR™ AUTOVALVE is the only automatic gas control valve that has all
three (3) control modes already built into the controller. There is no need to
buy or install extra "modules" or "chips".
Maximum feed rate capacities up to 2000 PPD (40 KG/HR) are available.

Gas Detector
Model SLD-1 & SLD-2
The SUPERIOR™ Gas Detector features "black box technology" that detects and records chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and ozone gasses. Password protection provides SUPERIOR security. The high capacity memory event alarm log records up to 256 events, along with the date and time of each event, which can be viewed on the display or can be downloaded from the optional serial port.
The SUPERIOR™ Gas Detector offers SUPERIOR monitoring at levels far below the threshold of human awareness. A screeching 95 decibel internal alarm horn alerts personnel, with the sensor recovering quickly when the gas has cleared.
